Jesse WV in May : May the rain hold a few days before, allowing for a great gathering of riders at the Jesse showgrounds! Through the heart of coal country. May 17th.
For the most part, the rain did hold off. Many pics are on the "dark"side, since I'd brought the wrong lens (my bad) but I can lighten those into useable pics. Good to see everyone again! Special thanks to Derek, for his video shooting.

Jackson County Horse Club Show : Cottageville is the home of the Jackson County Horse Club. Be there this June 21st. The first day of summer proved warm. A large crowd turned out to a somewhat flooded ring. Just when it appeared to "dry-up" for the speed class, a passing shower (with lightning) canceled the competition classes and the show. There are many pics here for you to choose from. Memories of this first day of summer 2008! PLEASE NOTE: You can order pics larger than 4x6, just email me the pic # IMG### the size you want and I'll replace the small pic with the original. Then you can order on-line OR by mail.

West Fork After the Fourth Show : Fun at a horse show?? You bet! Bring the kids, bring your cameras. A time you won't soon forget! This July 5th. The show got underway on schedule (3pm) and 20 minutes later the rain and lightning got underway as well. After a 20 minute delay and as the storm passed it was back to the show. Much hard work was done on the ring from previous rains to make the ring show ready. And it was in good shape, till the 20 min. rain took out the hard work. I would also like to thank the many die-hard members and visitors to this fine show at the West Fork! May your next show be a dry one! Judge Vickey Dunn officiated.
